Some people think that the government should knock down old buildings and make way for new buildings. Do you agree or disagree?

Rich heritage of any country makes it famous around the globe. A fair amount of masses opine that authorities should bring down monuments and construct new buildings. I accord with the given notion and shall scrutinize ample reasons to justify my perspective in subsequent paragraphs.

There are multiple causes that lead to need to destroy ancient buildings. First and foremost, such buildings are unsecure and detrimental for inhabitants and surroundings. Most of the time, people remain under threat that old building may fall and can be threat to human life and property. Clearing old buildings give way to development of new places which, not only give employment to a big crowd but also leads to flourishing of cities or towns. For instance, setting up multi-national corporations, malls multi-level offices will welcome inflow of income which can further be used for progress.

However, chunk of masses are of the notion that ancient buildings are part of heritage and should be preserved for future generations by converting them to museums or historical sites. Albeit, they contribute towards richness of heritage it is quiet challenging and seems next to impossible to renovate or maintain by spending hefty amount every now and then. Nevertheless, that money can be utilized better to construct contemporary buildings which can attract more tourists from other nations and help to spread the culture and tradition of that nation and make it popular around the world.

All in all, it can be asserted that monuments enhance the aesthetic value but may lead to excess burden financially as well as mentally on society and authorities.
