The number of people interested in cosmetic surgery is increasing in order to improve their physical appearance. Why do people do operations to change the way they look? Do you think it is a positive or negative development?

Over the past decade, technology has shown its advancement in the cosmetic field too. Nowadays, people are looking forward towards cosmetic surgeries in order to enhance the personality. There are multiple reasons behind this. I, however, believe that this is a negative development and I shall scrutinize my views in the subsequent paragraphs.

There are myriad reasons behind rise in the number of plastic surgeries. Firstly, people tend to look more young and smart than their age. People follow the celebrities and daily check the social pages of favorite ones. Celebrities usually do plastic surgery for looking more modern in the present time. Mostly youngsters follow the footsteps and they also do this for looking perfect in front of others. For instance, in Hollywood industry, there are numerous celebrities who did operations to change the look of facial expressions. It is not a good idea to change the body figures because it is detrimental for human body in some cases.

Elaborating further, there are numerous pitfalls of improving the physical appearance. Firstly when masses get operated to change the look it is not good for health because it gives bith to many diseases like skin cancer. To cite an example, Justin Bieber changed the look through plastic surgery few years ago and now he is role model for most of young ones. Furthermore, cosmetic surgery is expensive and only affluent class can afford it and enhance their personality.

All in all, it can be asserted that transformation of appearance leads to negative development. And it creates a feeling among people that beauty is the paramount aspect of life but sometimes it has bad effect on new generation.
